Ladue High School

Ladue High School moved into their

new Television Studio in the Fall of 2018.  Most of the equipment was existing except for the four displays mounted off the new lighting grid.

The studio lights and grid were

provided by Cine Services.

They are running the Panasonic

AG-HPX370 HD cameras into a Ross CrossOver Switcher.  The Studio now has a permanent Green Screen with the capabilities of having up to four different sets at one time.

St. Louis Blues NHL Team

In the summer of 2017, Modern Communications completed a six month project to update the

St. Louis Blues NHL team's video production storage and archive system.  Before this upgrade, the Blues were using an off-the-shelf NAS with a single stand- alone LTO drive for archive with no asset management in place to cater to a team of video producers creating highlight packages.  Every part of the process was slow and clunky.  MCI came in and replaced the aging NAS with an EVO shared storage system from SNS and complimented it with a 50-slot Spectra Logic LTO-7 Library.  Both of these systems are built for the needs of the Media and Entertainment industries.  Both systems are then managed with the CatDV media asset management solution from Squarebox Systems.  CatDV is THE industry standard for unlocking the value in millions of assets, automating demanding workflows and securing

the history of teams worldwide.

The Third stage included upgrading their existing Panasonic Cameras to Hitachi Digital 16x9 Studio Cameras.

Lindenwood University
Hunter Stadium -

St. Charles, MO

Television Studio

Lindenwood chose to upgrade their Football Stadium along with some of their other sports venues with the same HD quality they experienced in their existing HD Television Studio.

Modern designed and built a new TV Control Room in Hunter Stadium that was on par with their existing TV Studio.

Cameras could be set up in different sport venues whether it be the Football Stadium, the Basketball Arena or Field House and all controlled and run from this control room. The control room included a Ross Carbonite HD 24 input switcher, a Ross 64x64 HD Router, four Hitachi Z5000 Studio HD Cameras, full Clearcom wired and wireless intercom system along with full graphics and instant replay. The control room is tied directly back to main studio so both rooms can communicate back and forth.
